On Aflatoun Day (this year it is 19th of March) we celebrate the power of financial education to positively affect the lives of children and young people, enabling them to create a sustainable future. It promises to be a beautiful day and a perfect opportunity to shine a light on financial education by bringing together children and young people from around the world for a conversation about money.Â
In Aflatoun, we celebrate the week by organising global exchanges between various Aflatoun classes through online calls and meetings. From Malaysia to Colombia, from Kenya to Slovakia, pupils will discuss the importance of saving, planning for the future, and financial education. Additionally, various celebrations will take place across the world, to celebrate this day, stimulate each other, but also to raise money for school projects and mini enterprises.
